Amy is the Founder and CEO of Recruiting Experiences. The organization was founded to help companies simplify their hiring process and to train the next generation of recruiting professionals. Recruiting Experiences should be efficient, grounded in avoiding natural bias, data-driven, and kind.

After 'falling into recruiting' like so many other recruiting professionals, she developed a passion for identifying top talent and building high-performance teams in technology-focused companies. She has over 20 years of Talent Acquisition and Training & Development experience. She led global Talent Acquisition and Internal Mobility for PSAV, a $1Billlion private organization with over 1000 locations worldwide. Most recently, she served is Vice President of People Operations for Kinney Group, an Indianapolis-based Federal contractor for IT services. Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Ball State University.

Amy was my very first introduction to recruiting; I wasn't even aware of recruiting as a strategic HR function, let alone a passionate and fulfilling career. I feel beyond fortunate that she was the one that shaped my approach to the candidate experience and stakeholder management. Amy's approach to recruiting is deeply rooted in empathy and building trusted partnerships with the business - all while operating with a bias for action. Her coaching and leadership are the reason I'm able to hire for my dream company today!

Jenny, Recruiter at Google

I worked with Amy on a multitude of talent initiatives including reorganizing a large inside sales organization, recruiting skilled professionals through high growth and positive promotion churn, and leading change management in a turbulent environment. A combination of people and process driven guidance and talent leadership allowed us to double team size in a competitive environment while building a one-of-a-kind culture.

Amy’s expertise in delivering quality-driven recruiting experiences representing our brand and culture to the marketplace was invaluable. As the business expanded, Amy led us to consistently hire the best talent in a scarce, highly technical candidate market. Amy is also a fantastic coach and mentor to recruiters on her team. She was a guide, motivator, and role model for many technical and non-technical colleagues in the organization.

The course provided invaluable, full life- cycle recruiting processes and practice. I work for a local nonprofit and was unsure how the information would translate to donor and volunteer recruitment but I was able to put it to use immediately. What a wonderful growth opportunity, both professionally and personally. Amy is a guru!

This immersion has been a great foundation for me as I stepped into the world of Recruiting. The classes were great to follow along, filled with great discussion and information. The self-study part had great resources and I never felt overwhelmed even as I worked full-time. This was a great balance of learning and real world application. I can honestly say that I can take everything that I have learned and apply it. 10/10 would recommend!

Amy put together a well rounded curriculum that explained the recruiting cycle from sourcing to handoff and on-boarding. She advocated for becoming process-driven and to really integrate empathy into every step of that process. If anyone is looking for some additional training I highly recommend Amy's training program. She is thoughtful, kind, and brilliant in the recruiting world
